What’s one thing you are personally passionate about?

I am personally passionate about continued self-development – I love to study up on topics and learn new things and push myself to continue to grow in all areas of my life.

What's one thing you are professionally passionate about?

Professionally, I am passionate about assisting people to become the best version of themselves they can be. It’s very rewarding to me that I can offer my skills, training and support to help someone overcome their personal challenges and live a fulfilling, happy and purposeful life.

What’s one major challenge you’ve overcome in your life?

Supporting and caring for a loved one who had a serious mental illness during my adolescent years.

What do you love about working at The Psychology Cafe and Psychology Milk bar?

I love the fact that I get to mix my two life passions together – coffee and helping people overcome personal challenges and be the best version of themselves they can be! Also I like the fact that the Psychology Café and Milk Bar take the formality and “scariness” out of coming to see a psychologist. I believe the thought of coming to have a “coffee and chat” is a lot less intimidating to most people.

How do you like to relax when you’re not at work?

I am a giant foodie so when I am not at work I love to explore the coast’s fabulous expresso bars, cafés and restaurants with my husband.

What's one of your favourite psychology 'reads’?

“Flourish: A visionary new understanding of happiness and wellbeing” by Martin Seligman.
